L’objectif de l’Unité de Recherche "Bioagresseurs: Analyse et Maitrise du Risque" est de comprendre et décrire les mécanismes de développement des populations de bioagresseurs des cultures pérennes tropicales en relation avec leur environnement technique, physique et biologique, pour en améliorer la gestion agroécologique. Notre UR s’intéresse particulièrement aux systèmes hétérogènes comme les systèmes agroforestiers et aux effets de cette biodiversité végétale. L’unité a centré ses objectifs scientifiques autour des populations de bioagresseurs des cultures pérennes tropicales notamment du caféier, cacaoyer et palmier. Il s’agit de poursuivre la production de connaissances « utilisables » pour mieux maîtriser les populations de bioagresseurs sous la double exigence économique et écologique.

The objective of the Research Unit "Bioagresseurs: Analysis and Risk Management" is to understand and describe the mechanisms of development of pest populations of tropical perennial crops in relation to their technical, physical and biological environment, to improve the agroecological management. Our UR is particularly interested in heterogeneous systems such as agroforestry systems and the effects of this plant biodiversity. The unit focused its scientific objectives around pest populations of tropical perennial crops including coffee, cocoa and palm. The aim is to continue producing "usable" knowledge to better control pest populations under the dual economic and ecological requirements.
